2019 September – Dartmouth

A fantastic weeks diving from Dartmouth on the Falcon II. We stayed at Woodlands, a handsome Grade II listed three-storey Georgian townhouse with river views 10 minutes’ walk from the centre of Dartmouth

Divers included:

  • Adrian
  • Rod
  • Dorothee
  • Karen
  • Trevor
  • Danna
  • Stuart
  • Angela
  • Clive
  • Plus 2 divers from Cornwall who made up numbers

With non-divers Margaret and Paula joining us

We arrived on the last day of the Dartmouth Regatta, and were treated to an amazing firework display from a barge moored in the middle of the harbour.

Although not a large boat, the Falcon II is very well laid out, giving plenty of room for kitting up or sheltering from the elements

Out of 6 days diving, we were only blown out the once. This gave us a good excuse to do some local sight-seeing!

A large pod of Dolphins were spotted off Torbay, providing us with a brilliant display

Many critters were spotted under the waves too

Crawfish
Tompot Blenny
Cat Shark eggs
Fan worms
Fan Coral
Spot the Dab
Cheers!
